Rosie was delighted to sing the roles of Elettra (Idomeneo), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), and Fiordiligi (Cosi fan tutte) as part of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Opera Workshop this December 2021.

ROSIE PERFORMS WITH OXFORD CONTEMPORARY OPERA

Rosie will appear as the soprano for ‘Acceptance’, as part of Oxford Contemporary Opera’s upcoming project ‘Opera For One’

Opera For One is a virtual opera comprising five songs that have been commissioned by students affiliated with the University of Oxford, and it focuses on five themes of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.

Rosie is recipient to the prestigious Salomon Seelig Musicians Company Award 2020

Rosie was recipient to the prestigious Salomon Seelig Musicians Company Award 2020, and has earned a spot in the Yeomen young artists programme, meaning that she will be given mentoring and support for the next five years as her career develops. Read more about this exciting news here!

Designed to support the brightest and best of Scotland’s young artistic talent, Rosie is thrilled to be recipient.

I am so honoured to be chosen as a Dewar Artist. This award has allowed me to begin my Masters degree in Vocal Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. It has also given me an incredible personal and professional lift as I commence my career as a young opera singer.

Rosie’s residency at the Glasgow Centre for Contemporary Art

An Atmosphere of Joyful Contemplation at the CCA

Rosie performed at the CCA (Centre for Contemporary Arts) in Glasgow as part of art installation, Jasmina Cibic’s “An Atmosphere of Joyful Contemplation” for which she we resident for five weeks beginning the 13th September 2019.

“In An Atmosphere of Joyful Contemplation – a vocal performance taking place throughout the exhibition – two female singers exchange and compete in a vocal composition comprised of a set of instructions on how to achieve an ideal society through the employment of culture.”
