I teach 11 private students currently, hailing from all across the world. Due to the wonders of Zoom, I have even been able to give singing lessons to students as far afield as Ghana, Taiwan and the Philippines. 

With regards to getting started, I tend to suggest a wee taster session to get to know each other and see what you would like to get out of lessons with me. I love hearing people singing something they love and then we go from there. Although I’m classically trained, I love singing and teaching all types of music, from musical theatre to jazz, pop to opera – although I probably draw the line at heavy metal!

I can put students through graded exams if this is something you would be interested in, or we can work towards performances etc – I’m here for whatever you fancy! It’s your lesson, so you can decide how you wants to use them. As part of my classical training, I speak a few languages (French, German and Italian, and am comfortable working with other languages such as Russian, Scots Gaelic, Spanish etc) and would be happy to work on music in other languages also, if that’s something you may be interested in in the future (or we can sing Little Mix until our hearts are content – as I say, it’s all very much up to you!)

My main aim in singing lessons is to bring the JOY of singing to as many people as possible. I really do believe that everyone can sing, and I love nothing more than to work with individuals on music that they love and have a laugh whilst doing so.
